Educational Qualification:

  • M.B.B.S, m.S. – both from  m.S.Ramaiah medical college, Bangalore  m.Ch. Urology and andrology – from st johns medical college and hospital, Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
  • Post-Graduation (2014) m.S.  - entrance via cut 2011 Karnataka state government exam.
  • M.Ch entrance via separate exam held by st johns academy of health sciences – Bangalore – all   India   rank  1
  • Presently, consultant urologist and andrologist at the ILS Groups of Hospital - Kolkata – India  - running the department individually.

Dr. Gotam Pipara has done his m.B.B.S from the prestigious m.S.Ramaiah medical college, Bangalore Karnataka. Thereafter he pursued m.S. In general surgery from the same institute under the able guidance and mentorship of dr. Sreevatsa m.R. He was a state rank holder during his final exams of m.S. General surgery in Karnataka. He was working with dr. Sudarshan thereafter at b .R. Ambedkar medical college, Bangalore. He was all India rank 1 at st johns academy of medical sciences where he joined for his m.Ch in urology (genitourinary surgery), andrology, and renal transplant under the able mentorship of dr. Nagaraja Rao and dr. Surya Kant Choubey. He cleared his m.Ch with a first-class. He later joined ILS Groups of Hospital - Kolkata unit – where he is working to date.

He has done a number of paper presentations at local, state, regional, and national conferences during his m.S. And m.Ch times. He has a number of publications to his name and has been inclined towards research and academics. Presently he is handling the department of urology, uro-oncology, laparoscopic uro surgery, end urology, andrology, and CKD surgeries at the Gandhidham unit independently. All emergency and routine opd work, end urology, open, and lap urological surgeries, uro oncology, andrology, and sexual medicine are being taken care of. The urology and nephrology team at the ILS Groups of Hospital - Kolkata has been serving the people of kutch day and night bringing world-class facilities near home.

Drug trials

Tetraphase tp-434-p2-ciai-1:phase 2, randomized, double-blind, double mummy, multicenter, prospective study to assess the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of 2 dose regimens of tp 434 compared with ertapenem in adult community-acquired complicated intraabdominal infections study.

Activities  and  services

Served  at  Sri  Sathya  sai general  hospital ( unit of Sri Satya sai central trust) for  a  period  of  2 months  from  1.07.12  to  31.08.12 in  attending  surgical  opd s and  assisting surgeries ( as a part of the post-graduation program)
